Privacy Policy

CouponStack is a coupon and deal aggregator. We built it to require as little of your personal information as possible — there are no user accounts on the public site, and browsing, revealing a code, or voting on whether a deal worked doesn't require you to sign up or give us your name, email, or any other identifying detail.

When you visit CouponStack, your browser generates a random, anonymous identifier stored in your browser's local storage (not a tracking cookie). We use it for two things only:

• Remembering that you've already voted "worked" or "didn't work" on a specific coupon, so you can't vote twice on the same one.
• Logging when a "Reveal Code" or "Get Deal" button is clicked, so we can see in aggregate which stores and deals are actually useful to visitors.

This identifier isn't linked to your name, email, IP address, or any other personal information we hold, and we don't use it to track you across other websites. Standard web server logs (e.g. timestamps, browser type) may also be recorded automatically by our hosting provider, as with any website.

Some coupons and deals on this site link to merchants through affiliate programs — if you make a purchase after clicking through, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Once you leave CouponStack for a merchant's site, that site's own privacy policy and cookies apply, not this one.

We may run advertising campaigns for CouponStack through platforms such as Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/ Instagram) to reach people looking for deals. Those platforms operate under their own privacy policies and may use their own cookies or similar technologies to measure how well an ad performed. We don't share any personal information collected on this site with them beyond standard, aggregated ad-performance data those platforms provide back to us.

CouponStack has a separate, password-protected admin dashboard used only by the site operator to manage merchants and coupons. Sign-in there uses standard authentication (via Supabase) and is unrelated to and inaccessible from the public site.

Because CouponStack doesn't have user accounts and doesn't collect personal information from visitors, there's no personal data tied to you for us to delete. The only thing stored in your browser is the random anonymous identifier described above — you can clear it at any time yourself by clearing your browser's local storage/site data for this site, which resets your vote history with no further action needed from us. If you believe we hold any information about you that isn't described on this page, contact us below and we'll look into it.

CouponStack is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
